1. What do you like about teaching/working at LCN?
I love lesson planning and seeing which techniques are most engaging for students. The students are all so smart and hardworking that it’s a joy watching them make progress in their English learning.
2. What is your favorite book?
This is a difficult question for me to answer! I will narrow it down to my favorite recent book, which is The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
3. Who inspired you to be a teacher?
My 5th grade teacher, Deanann Hinkin, and Lily Acevedo, my conversational Spanish teacher.
4. Fun fact about you:
I’ve been learning Spanish for several years. It’s given me a wonderful perspective on language acquisition, both the good and the challenging.
