What do you like about working at LCN?

My motivated, hardworking students and friendly, helpful colleagues.

What is your favorite book?

Depending on what I’m in the mood for, but some favorites are Behind the Beautiful Forevers, The Underground Railroad, Pillars of the Earth, and if I’m reading to a very young child, nothing beats Goodnight Moon.

Who inspired you to teach?

A friend from college thought I’d make a good teacher, though I’d never considered it.  Then I sat in on some EFL classes overseas, liked it, and went on to grad school for TESOL.  So thank you, old friend!

Fun fact:

Not a trained singer, but I have a decent voice and love to sing, especially with friends and musicians.  I’ve been doing it since childhood
